Tipperary have appealed the ban handed to defender Eamonn Corcoran by the Games Administration Committee (GAC) last week.

Tipperary have appealed the ban handed to defender Eamonn Corcoran by the Games Administration Committee (GAC) last week.

Corcoran was suspended for 12 weeks after an incident involving Galway's Kenneth Burke during a league clash last month.

However, it is believed Tipperary officials have objected to the ban on the basis that it came about because of the word of a fourth official and not referee or linesman.
