Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has appointed foreign affairs spokesman Billy Timmins as its director of elections for the Lisbon referendum in October.
Lucinda Creighton will have special responsibility for Dublin, while John Perry, Bernard Durkan and Tom Hayes have been appointed as co-ordinators for the northwest, east and south regions, respectively.
A Fine Gael frontbench meeting on the referendum will take place next week.
