Three teenagers bailed over Limerick car death

Two teenage girls and a teenage boy have been remanded on bail in Limerick District Court.

Two teenage girls and a teenage boy have been remanded on bail in Limerick District Court.

They were charged in connection with the death of 17-year old girl who was knocked down by a stolen car in Limerick city on Saturday night.

Miss Tanya Noonan, from the Moyross area of Limerick City, was walking with friends off Mulgrave Street when she was hit by a Honda Civic that had been stolen a short time earlier.

She was pronounced dead at Limerick Regional Hospital. Her 18-year-old companion was treated for his injuries, which are not life-threatening.
