Three people arrested yesterday after the seizure of heroin in Dublin with an estimated street value of €600,000 have had their detention extended.

The three - a Dutch man (40), a Dutch woman (43) and a man (22) from Drimnagh - were arrested on Tuesday night in Coolock after a search on a house uncovered 2.5 kilogrammes of the drug.

They are being held under the Drugs Trafficking Act in Santry Garda Station.
