THE SDLP, the Ulster Unionists and the Alliance party held a trilateral meeting at Stormont Castle in Belfast yesterday in an attempt to move the talks process forward. The three parties discussed the log jam over decommissioning during their two hour meeting. Multi party negotiations were adjourned on Tuesday following an acrimonious session on decommissioning described as "most depressing" by the Alliance Party.
Negotiations will resume again next Tuesday. The adjournment was to allow further bilateral discussions between the parties, the governments and the independent chairman.
