A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions following the arrest of three males in connection with an apparent hoax anthrax scare in the Dundrum area of Dublin yesterday.
An envelope containing a white substance was brought to Dundrum Garda station by a man. It is understood the letter had been delivered to the man's home.
The Garda station was sealed off for a time as was the home of the man and his family.
Subsequently, three males were arrested and held for questioning in Blackrock Garda station.
Last night they were released and a file is to be sent to the DPP concerning the case.
