Gardaí have arrested three men following an armed raid on a pharmacy on South Circular Road in Dublin this afternoon.
The men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s, were detained at the scene following the incident, which took place at about 2pm. A firearm was also recovered.
The men entered the pharmacy, with one armed with what appeared to be a handgun. Armed gardaí on patrol in the area responded to the incident.
No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the incident.
The men are being detained at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda stations under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
