Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Hells Angel biker on the M40 motorway, police in Britain said today.
Two addresses were raided in Coventry and one in Nuneaton during the early hours in a joint operation between West Midlands and Warwickshire police as well as the Serious Organised Crime Agency.
Police are searching the properties and said other addresses may be raided.
The men are being questioned at a police station in Warwickshire.
Gerry Tobin was shot in the back of the head as he rode home from an annual biker event, the Bulldog Bash, in Warwickshire on August 12th.
Police have received more than 600 calls and e-mails from the public in response to appeals, but are still urging anyone with information about a dark-coloured Rover 600 car to come forward.
Assistant Chief Constable Bill Holland told a news conference: "The investigation is active and ongoing."
Detectives believe Mr Tobin (35), a motorbike mechanic who lived in south London, had been deliberately targeted after being followed from the bikers' event.
They have said it was possible that he had been targeted by a rival gang.
