Two men and a woman have been arrested in the loyalist Lower Shankill area of west Belfast after a weapons find.
A gun and ammunition were seized during what police described as a planned house search.
The area is the stronghold of Johnny Adair's notorious "C" Company of the UDA who have been accused of carrying out a weekend double murder.
