The man found stabbed to death in a west Belfast alleyway was named by the RUC tonight as Dominic Gerard McManus, 33, of Quadrant Place, Belfast.

Earlier the police arrested three men in connection with the incident.

The three men were detained after the vehicle in which they were travelling was stopped on the Antrim Road at about 9.30 a.m.

The victim was found in an alley at Devonshire Place in the Grosvenor Road area.

It is understood there had been a disturbance in the area and a nearby house was examined as part of follow up inquiries.
