The six members of the Dail Public Accounts Committee's sub-committee are:
Mr Jim Mitchell (53), Fine Gael TD for Dublin Central, is chairman of the PAC. Formerly a brewery executive, he was first elected to the Dail in 1977. He served as a minister in a number of departments including justice.
Mr Bernard Durkan (54) is Fine Gael TD for Kildare North. He was Minister of State for Social Welfare in the Rainbow government. First elected to the Dail in 1981, he lost his seat a year later but regained it after a spell in the Seanad.
Mr Sean Doherty (55) is Fianna Fail TD for Longford-Roscommon. First elected to the Dail in 1977, he is a former minister for justice and cathaoirleach of the Seanad.
Mr Pat Rabbitte (50) is Labour TD for Dublin South-West. He was first elected to the Dail in 1989 for the Workers' Party and was Minister of State for Commerce in the rainbow government.
Mr Denis Foley (65) is Fianna Fail TD for Kerry North. First elected to the Dail in 1981, he served as chairman of the Committee of Public Accounts in the 1980s.
Mr Sean Ardagh (52) is Fianna Fail TD for Dublin South Central. He was elected to the Dail on his first attempt in 1997.
