London - Britain named the new head of its foreign intelligence agency yesterday, but gave little else away.

London - Britain named the new head of its foreign intelligence agency yesterday, but gave little else away.

The Foreign Office announced that Mr Richard Dearlove (54) would become chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) - better known as MI6 - on September 1st this year. Mr Dearlove will replace Sir David Spedding, who is retiring.
