Three teenagers were hurt in Co Armagh overnight after they were attacked by five masked men

Three teenagers were hurt in Co Armagh overnight after they were attacked by five masked men. The RUC has described the incident as a sectartian, paramilitary-style attack.

One of the five masked men was carrying a baseball bat when the three youths were attacked shortly before 1 a.m. in a fast food outlet on High St, Ballinahinch.

One of the youths is 13 years of age and the other two are 14. They received various degrees of bruising.

The attackers left the scene in a blue car. An RUC spokesman said an ongoing investigation was taking place and one person had been arrested over the incident.
