Aer Lingus was yesterday attempting to contact everyone on its New York to Shannon flight on October 26th, after confirming that one of the passengers was suffering from tuberculosis.

Aer Lingus said the risk of infection from the disease was low, but it wanted to alert other passengers to give them the opportunity to receive the appropriate medical advice.
