LONDON - Chocolate flavoured carrots went on sale yesterday and look set to be a big hit with children. Even the man marketing the cocoa sweetened frozen carrots admitted he found them horrible, although Iceland frozen food chain chairman Mr Malcolm Walker did like the rest of his "wacky veg" range peas tasting of baked beans, cheese and onion flavoured cauliflower and pizza sweetcorn.
The snack flavoured vegetables were produced in conjunction with the Cancer Research Campaign in an effort to give children a more balanced diet.
