Khartoum - Sudan and Uganda are to exchange ambassadors and resume air links as part of a process to normalise relations and end rebel activity along their border, a senior Sudanese official said yesterday.

The normalisation started last month following an agreement signed by Presidents Omar Hassan al-Bashir of Sudan and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda in Nairobi in December.
