A university student was killed yesterday after falling from a cliff near Portstewart. Ms Donna Marie Cassidy (20), from Steelstown Road, Derry, and a friend were walking between Portstewart and Portrush around 3 a.m. when they lost their footing and fell 50 feet onto rocks below.
The man managed to climb to safety and summon help. But the woman died a short time later in Coleraine Hospital.
