Broadcaster Seán O’Rourke has called on fellow NUI Galway graduates to stay in touch with the university through a new initiative launched yesterday.
The presenter of RTÉ's News at One, Morning Irelandand This Weekrecorded an online video appeal on the NUIG website explaining how alumni of the university can re-establish contact with the institution by text message.
Text GRAD followed by a space and the year of graduation to 51000 and the graduate will be contacted by the alumni office.
