Aer Lingus has warned that a number of long-haul flights will be cancelled despite the suspension of a planned strike by 480 pilots.

Tomorrow, Tuesday August 21st, the regular EI105 flight from Dublin to New York at 10.30am and the EI104 flight from New York to Dublin at 5.40pm will both be cancelled.

On Wednesday, August 22nd, the EI123 Dublin to Chicago at 11.50am and the return flight, EI122, at 4.20pm have been cancelled.

Customers who were due to travel on Tuesday and Wednesday and who cancelled bookings due to the proposed strike action may re-book their flight free of charge.

Alternatively, passengers may present themselves at check-in where they will be re-accommodated, the airline added.
