The three Irish soldiers who were falsely accused of rape in Cyprus by Dublin woman, Mr Annette Mangan, are due to return to South Lebanon this morning. The soldiers, with the 81st battalion based in Tibnin, had returned to Ireland on leave.

A spokesman for the Defence Forces said he could not comment on reports that the soldiers were considering legal action over Ms Mangan's accusation.
