Smokers warned over cot deaths

LONDON - Britain yesterday warned parents that smoking increases the risk of cot death by almost two thirds. The Department of Health and the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths published a revised leaflet highlighting the importance of smoke free zones, particularly near babies' sleeping places.
