Sheahan withdraws from Munster side

Munster’s Frankie Sheahan has had to withdraw from tomorrow's Celtic League opener against Llanelli

Munster’s Frankie Sheahan has had to withdraw from tomorrow's Celtic League opener against Llanelli. The hooker is suffering from a shoulder injury and will be replaced by James Blaney.

The withdrawal comes as a real blow for Munster having lost captain Jim Williams to injury and John O’Neill due to personal reasons earlier in the week. The two have been replaced by Eddie Halvey and Mossy Lawlor respectively. Anthony Horgan stands in as captain.
