Met Éireann has issued a severe weather warning for tomorrow.
The meteorological service said stormy weather was likely to develop late tomorrow night and continue for much of Monday with coastal counties of Connacht and Ulster most at risk.
Southwest winds could gust between 100 and 130 km/hr in exposed areas, Met Eireann said.
Very high waves are expected on west, northwest and north coasts on Monday with wave heights between six and 10 metres.
