A former Limerick security officer, Mr Andrew O'Reilly (47), of Danesfort, Corbally, has been awarded almost £6,000 by the Employment Appeals Tribunal against Arthur's Quay Management Services, Limerick, under the Terms of Employment Act and the Unfair Dismissals Act.
He was dismissed because of a shortfall in parking vouchers, which were stated to be of no commercial value to him. He received compensation of £5,165, plus £784 in lieu of notice.
