The search is on for two young actors to star in a new film.
They are being sought for the Film Disco Pigs, produces by Ed Guiney, of Temple Films. His latest production, Sweety Barrett, starring Brendan Gleeson, is topping the video rental charts at present in the Republic.
The Maureen Hughes Casting Agency conducted a similar search for Neil Jordan's The Butcher Boy and uncovered Eamonn Owens, the star, in a Killeshandra, Co Cavan, classroom. The agency is looking for a boy and a girl aged between 15 and 19 to play the lead roles of Pig and Runt.
