Paul Scholes will miss England's friendly against Italy at Elland Road tomorrow night after suffering a calf injury.
The Manchester United midfielder has strained his left calf and coach Sven-Goran Eriksson admitted today he will not select him.
Sol Campbell will play for "at least 45 minutes", according to Eriksson, despite suffering a dead leg.
But the Swede will have to wait on the fitness of Ashley Cole who has suffered knee ligament problems while Teddy Sheringham will train today as he bids to prove his fitness.
