An American linked by Russia to US intelligence services has been arrested in the southern Russian city of Voronezh on a drugs charge.
The US citizen, identified as Mr John Edward Tobbin, was reportedly arrested on February 1st. The report said he is a graduate of an intelligence centre based in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, as well as a foreign-language insitute in Monterey, California.
The US embassy in Moscow was not immediately available for comment.
The report came a week after US security agents arrested an employee with the FBI Intelligence Division's Rssian section, Mr Robert Hanssen, on charges of spying for Russia for 15 years.
