An illicit still and 11 gallons of poitin were seized by police and customs officers in south Derry during a search of a house and farm buildings outside Draperstown at the weekend. Around 150 gallons of wash were also recovered. An RUC spokesman said yesterday that a man interviewed in connection with the seizure had been released pending the preparation of a report for the DPP.
