The RUC is investigating a paramilitary-style attack in south Armagh in which a man was shot in the arm and both legs. The 24-year-old was driving in the Forkhill area yesterday morning when his vehicle was stopped by a number of masked and armed men.
Meanwhile, a Coleraine mother and an 11-year-old girl escaped injury when two gunmen entered their home at Woodburn Crescent on Wednesday night and fired a shot.
