Robbers stab Dublin taximan with syringe

A taxi-driver was attacked with a syringe in Coolock in Dublin last night.

A taxi-driver was attacked with a syringe in Coolock in Dublin last night.

The driver picked up a couple on the Malahide Road and brought them to Moatview court in Coolock. The passengers attacked him with a syringe. He was pricked by the needle twice and the two stole his money.

The driver went to Beaumont Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Gardaí are investigating.
