Irish-speakers around the world will now be able to tune in to Raidio na Gaeltachta (RnaG) through live broadcasts on the Internet, writes Lorna Siggins. The 24-hour web-link was formally initiated in Galway yesterday by Eadaoin Ni Challarain, the Irish Olympic canoeist.

Ms Ni Challarain (24) has secured sponsorship from RnaG to compete in the Sydney Olympics and is featured in the latest advertising for the station.
