A 52 year old north Co Dublin man who faces 265 charges of buggery, indecent assault and gross indecency, was sent for trial to Dublin Circuit Court, at Balbriggan District Court yesterday.
The charges relate to assaults on males between 1971 and 1989 in Co Kilkenny and Co Dublin. The man had previously applied through his solicitor, Mr Dermot McNamara, for additional time to consider the book of evidence.
Judge Sean Delap remanded the man on continuing bail.
