London - A refuse bin full of Christmas rubbish went on show at the Tate Gallery, in London, yesterday. The stilllife composition, called "Christmas Tree 1997", symbolises the massive consumption and waste in modern society. Michael Landy's exhibit features a damaged Teletubby (Laa-Laa), numerous supermarket bags, a broken tree, drink cans and a Pizza box.
