A visiting group of Chinese high court judges was given a civic reception by the Mayor of Limerick, Cllr Joe Harrington, yesterday. The judicial party, headed by Mr Justice Li Ke, vice-president of the Beijing High Peoples Court, is in Ireland for a 10-day visit studying the Irish legal system and court administration.
The delegation was introduced to the Mayor by Mr Justice Dermot Kinlen, a pioneer in developing Chinese-Irish relations.
