Rape accused is given bail

A 57-year-old Co Tipperary man who appeared in Kilmainham District Court on rape charges wad granted bail yesterday. The accused was charged with rape, indecent assault and buggery of a nine-year-old girl at Blanchardstown, Dublin, between 1979 and 1980. The man's wife agreed to go bail for him and Judge Gillian Hussey remanded him to September 12th, on independent bail of Pounds 500.
