LONDON - Queen Elizabeth will convene a "royal summit" this month of senior family members and palace officials to chart the future of Britain's crisis hit monarchy.

The meeting of the so called "Way Ahead Group" will include all the queen's children, will be held at the queen's Scottish estate, Balmoral. The Prime Minister, Mr John Major, and his wife, Norma, are to be the queen's guests at Balmoral this weekend.
