Police in the North have named a man being sought in an investigation into the killing of a man (28) in Co Down at the weekend.

A murder inquiry was begun yesterday after the body of Mr Richard Hamill, from Cleland Park Central, Bangor, was found in the St Gallen Court area of the town. It is understood the fatal shooting happened early in the morning.

Detectives have now appealed for Mr William Moore, also known as "Billy the Boxer", to come forward. Members of the public have been advised not to approach Mr Moore as he is believed to be armed.
