The PSNI in Co Down are trying to identify a man whose body was discovered in the sea close to Ardglass harbour last Saturday, August 18th.

A postmortem is continuing into the cause of death.

The man is described as being 30-40 years old, of medium build, 173cm in height (5 ft 8 inches) with light facial stubble and a round face. He had dark or black receding hair that was combed back.

He wore a navy blue woollen jumper, over a horizontal light and dark blue striped long sleeved top, blue denim jeans and brown casual trainers.

Police are also believe the man may have recently been in the Republic as he was carrying euros.
