Man found dead after blaze at flat in Winchester Park area

The Police Service of Northern Ireland is investigating a fatal fire in Derry

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal fire in Derry last night.

Police responded to reports of an incident in a flat in the Winchester Park area at about 11.40pm.

A man was found dead at the scene.

The PSNI said a full examination will take place to determine the cause of the fire.
