The National Transport Authority has approved Dublin Bus plans to eliminate the number 19 bus route, despite a series of public protests against the change.

The route runs from Finglas to Glasnevin, Phibsborough, the city centre, Crumlin and Inchicore. Dublin Bus is to cease the service from Sunday, August 28th. Groups opposed to the move will protest outside Dublin Bus’s O’Connell Street headquarters at 1pm today.
