A prisoner identified as involved in a siege at Mountjoy prison last month when six prison officers were held hostage was further remanded on unconnected charges at the Dublin District Court yesterday. Warren Dumbrell (22), of Emmet Street, Dublin, is charged with possession of housebreaking implements on Temple Road, Rathmines, on October 26th.
In court yesterday he was handcuffed and manacled to a warder as Judge William Earley remanded him to February 11th next. The full hearing on February 17th.
