BUENOS AIRES - Nine priests ended a two week hunger strike yesterday after the mayor of Buenos Aires reversed a decision to evict poor families to make way for a highway, officials said. The priests, who were supported by high ranking church officials, said they abandoned the hunger strike "at the request of neighbours" in the poor Retiro barrio.
