New Delhi - Five Indian policemen have been suspended for hanging the national flag upside down on the 50th anniversary of the country's independence, the Press Trust of India said yesterday. The news agency said the policemen, from the central state of Madhya Pradesh, were in charge of official decorations in the state capital, Bhopal. It said the policemen had hung the flag incorrectly on a jeep. - (AFP)
