Police in Fermanagh are appealing for information after armed raiders robbed a bank in Belleek yesterday.
At about 3.15pm, a man entered the bank on Main Street, while an accomplice stood at the door. After approaching cashiers, the man produced a firearm and a bag, and instructed cashiers to fill it.
The men escaped from the scene with an undisclosed sum of cash in a red-coloured BMW, in which a third man is believed to have been waiting.
No one was injured during the incident.
The men are believed to have transferred to a black Vauxhall Vectra. Police said the registration of the car may have been 01 DL 6318.
The BMW was later found abandoned and on fire in the Camlin area, about a mile over the border.
Police are appealing for anyone who noticed the red BMW car around the area, witnessed the men near the bank, or who may have information in relation to the whereabouts of the black Vauxhall Vectra to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
