EDINBURGH - The husband of Mrs Gwen Mayor, the teacher murdered when Thomas Hamilton went on the rampage at Dunblane, made an emotional public plea for a total handgun ban yesterday after an inquiry heard of the terrible injuries the teacher had suffered in the schoolroom massacre.
Mr Rodney Mayor (52), warned politicians who voted against a handgun ban that they would not be forgiven. Yesterday's fatal accident inquiry into her death heard how she was wounded six times when Hamilton massacred her and 16 pupils.
