Play at Wimbledon has resumed after a 1hr 10min rain delay.

Matches were suspended at 12.15 p.m shortly after play had begun for the day with a light drizzle falling.

It was the first rain delay of this year's championships. The opening three days had enjoyed clear skies and hot sunshine in contrast to previous years when bad weather had played havoc with the schedule.

Play on the Centre Court got underway with a second round tie between second-seeded Andre Agassi of the United States and British wild card entry Jamie Delgado.
