Plastic bullets fired in Belfast

The RUC in Belfast fired a number of plastic bullets at a crowd in the north of the city on Sunday night

The RUC in Belfast fired a number of plastic bullets at a crowd in the north of the city on Sunday night. An RUC spokesman said the bullets were fired after officers came under sustained attack from petrol bombs around 11.30 p.m. in the Limestone Road area. There were no reports of any injuries. The area was reported quiet early yesterday.
