Irish mobile computer chip designer Parthus Technologies today announced the opening of an advanced research and development centre in Limerick.

The new centre - which currently employs 30 researchers - will expand to become the company’s worldwide software development headquarters for wireless communications.

The centre was officially opened today by theTánaiste Ms Harney, together with Mr Kevin Fielding, president of Parthus Technologies.

Parthus currently employs over 400 people in Ireland and abroad.
