JAKARTA - Papal envoy, Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, arrived in the predominantly Catholic populated former Portuguese colony of East Timor yesterday, the Antara news agency said.
The cardinal, who has been in Indonesia on a pastoral visit since Thursday, was met at the airport in the East Timorese capital of Dili by Bishop Carlos. Felipe Ximenez Belo and ViceGovernor Johanes Haribowo.
