Lisbon - More than 200 East Timorese opposed to Indonesian rule agreed at a four-day convention which ended yesterday to form a national Resistance Council (CNRT) to lead efforts to achieve independence for the former Portuguese territory. The 210 delegates adopted unanimously a draft setting out the statutes of the CNRT after the various resistance movements finally reached agreement on the text.
